Polito Picks Off Bilokur Again

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

On the {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, Alex Bilokur check-raised a bet of 60,000 from Laurent Polito to 205,000. Polito stood strong to Bilokur's aggression once again and made the call to see the {4-Hearts} land on the turn. Here, Bilokur barreled 325,000, but he didn't shake Polito, who stayed in to see the {J-Diamonds} land on the river. Then, both players checked.

Bilokur showed the {4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a pair of fours, but Polito's {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} proved to be the winner and he scooped in the pot.

Tobias Reinkemeier and Laurent Polito both went all in preflop. Alex Bilokur got out of the way and the two were left heads up.

Showdown

Reinkemeier: {A-Spades} {9-Spades}
Polito: {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}

The {J-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {6-Spades} flop paired Reinkemeier's ace, and also gave a set to Polito leaving him in the lead. The {Q-Hearts} on the turn didn't favor any of the two, while {J-Spades} on the river gave the Frenchman an even better hand.

Both players' stacks looked very similar and the dealer had to recount them to eventually announce that Reinkemeier's was a little shorter which meant the end his tournament run.
