to Watson, who fired out another 64,000; Mercier and Juanda both gave up and Watson took it down.

Jetten Not Allowing Any Cheap Flops

Scotty Nguyen, now with enough chips to his name to make a move other than all in, limped preflop. Juanda decided to come along for the ride too and made up the blind -- but big blind Peter Jetten laid to rest their dreams of a quiet life and a cheap flop, and they both passed.

Juanda bet out 54,000, but Jetten raised all in for 289,000. With the minimum of pause and very little fuss, Juanda folded.

Again it folded around to Mercier in the small blind, and once again he limped. Big blind Juanda made it 40,000, however, and this time Mercier folded.

Scotty Nguyen Doubles Through Peter Jetten

Like Captain Hook, Scotty Nguyen was desperate for a hand. UTG with the 12,000 blind about to hit him, he will have been delighted to find {K-Diamonds}

and swiftly pushed his stack of 75,000 across the line.

Although his previous shoves had gone through, this one didn't, Peter Jetten opting to announce all in from the small blind with {5-Hearts}

flop looking ominous for Nguyen, but the {K-Clubs}

pried out the Nguyen smile, and a {Q-Hearts}

river confirmed the win.

Nguyen now on over 150,000 and like Michael Jackson in the '80s, is "dangerous".

Don't Mess With Mercier

Jason Mercier did an unusual thing for this final table in that he merely limped in on the small blind. Juanda raised to 37,000, and again Mercier merely called.

They saw a {9-Hearts}

flop, which Mercier checked. Juanda tried another 40,000, but Mercier check-raised all in for 267,000. An instantaneous fold from Juanda.
