Tim's External Internal Monologue

"Why didn't I take my time? Time is on MY side. It's on MY side. Take your time, take your time," Vance said, pacing around and berating himself for his play on the previous hand.

"I'm sorry," he said, apologizing to the photo of his three-year-old daughter Nanzi, which is taped to the inside of his red baseball cap.

Soren Doubles Up

Soren limps and Tim makes it 200,000 more. Soren moves all in. Tim asks for a count. Soren has 610,000 more than the raise.

Tim calls with {Q-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.
Soren has {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Flop is {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

Turn is the {K-Spades}, the river is an irrelavent {2-Clubs}, and Soren doubles back up and goes into his excited celebration performance again.

Tim meanwhile berates himself for a bad call.

Tim still has 2,860,000 to Soren's 1,740,000.

Tim Vance Doubles Through Soren Jensen

Finally, some big action!

Jensen called from the small blind and Vance raised to 140,000. Jensen called. The flop was {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Jensen checked, Vance bet 200,000, Jensen raised to 400,000, and Vance quickly called. The turn was the {Q-Spades}. Jensen checked and Vance checked behind. The river was the {J-Clubs}. Jensen checked, Vance moved all in and Jensen called.

Vance turned up a flush while Jensen showed Q-10 for two pair. Vance took a commanding chip lead on the hand with 3,730,000 to Jensen's 870,000.

And we're all left to wonder what would have happened had Jensen bet his two pair on the turn...

Trip Threes For Jensen

After limping in and seeing a {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, Jensen checked, Vance bet 120,000 and Jensen called. The turn was the {6-Spades} and both players checked. The river was the {3-Diamonds}. Both checked again. Vance showed a seven for second pair, but Jensen showed a three for trip threes and took it down.

Three More Hands

1. Tim limps and Soren checks. Flop is {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Soren checks, Tim checks. Turn is the {4-Diamonds}. Soren checks, Tim bets 100,000, and Soren folds.

2. Soren raises, Tim folds.

3. Tim gives Soren a walk.

All In!

Tim raises the minimum to 120,000. Soren then moves all in before Tim has the chips in the middle. Tim passes.
