Aggression Increasing

Ashton Griffin has really picked up the aggression since busting out Brett Richey. He's been raising a lo of hands and also three-bet shoving over other players' raises more often than he did before. Maybe he just wants to end this as fast as possible because he's still on no sleep, who knows. It is making the other players adjust and have to play back at him more, which is making the action pick up a bit.

Ashton Griffin opened to 6,000, and Richey moved all in for 75,700. Ashton asked for a count, and then made the call.

. Richey just had to dodge three kings to stay alive. No such luck when the {K-Hearts}

spiked on the river. Richey picked up three bounties in the first round for $15,000 and gets $75,000 for winning his first table. Plus, after he collects his $90,000, he can go back to sleep.

Griffin further extends his chip lead, nearing the 400,000 chip mark. Griffin also gets Richey's $5,000 bounty, which has to make Scott Seiver happy. Griffin only eliminated two players at his first-round table, making him the only player who can't overtake Seiver in the most-deadly-player race. Griffin has to eliminate all four of his opponents to tie Seiver and split the $100,000 prize.

Richey Doubles Up

Action folded to the shortest stack at the table in Brett Richey. He moved all in for 35,300. Joe Cassidy verified the count and then made the call from the small blind.

Richey held the {A-Clubs}

and was in dominating position to double up against Cassidy's {A-Hearts}

. Before any further action happened, Richey tossed over his bounty chip to Cassidy.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}

and Richey survived, doubling up to 75,000 chips.
