Shavonne Mitchell Busts Dana Reutter

Shavonne Mitchell called a raise from Dana Reutter out of the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} and Mitchell checked over to Reutter. Reutter decided on a bet of 8,000 and shipped it into the middle. Mitchell called.

The turn was the {Q-Spades} and Mitchell checked again to Reutter. This time Reutter fired all of her chips, 24,800. Mitchell thought for a while. She counted out the chips and then asked the dealer to make sure it was 24,800. The dealer nodded and Mitchell decided it was time to make the call. She did.

Mitchell: {10-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}
Reutter: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}

The river was the {4-Spades} and Mitchell eliminated Reutter from the tournament. Mitchell's stack now sits around 91,000 and puts her among the chip leaders at the end of day one.
