Todd Up, Morgan Down

In a big three-way hand, Eugene Todd's A-A-x-x outlasted Jordan Morgan's K-K-x-x and Todd has moved up to approximately 190,000 in chips. Meanwhile, Morgan is down to 15,000.

Laurence Cowsar Eliminated in 20th ($5,905)

Laurence Cowsar
Laurence Cowsar
At the same time that Brown elimination was taking place, the last hand on another table saw another bustout.

Laurence Cowsar limped from middle position, Eugene Todd called behind him, and the big blind checked. The flop came {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts}. The big blind checked, Cowsar bet the pot, Todd reraised pot, the big blind folded, and Cowsar called with the rest of his chips.

Cowsar: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Todd: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

Once again we're seeing a flopped set vs. flush draw situation. The turn and river -- {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} -- brought one more heart than Todd needed, and Cowsar is out.

Todd is up to 102,000.

Randy Holland Eliminated in 22nd ($5,905)

On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Calen McNeil bet, Randy Holland reraised enough to put all of his chips in, and McNeil called.

McNeil: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Holland: {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

Holland had flopped the straight, but McNeil was drawing to the nut flush.

The turn was the {J-Clubs}. So far so good, for Holland. But the {8-Diamonds} on the river gave McNeil the rest of his chips. McNeil is now up to 180,000.

Brown in the Muck

Jeff Brown bet out on a {A-Hearts} {6-Spades} {9-Hearts} board before seeing Trai Dang move all in. It wasn't much more Brown to call and he did, reluntantly.

Dang showed {9-Spades} {5-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {5-Spades} for middle set and Brown showed {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} for just top pair.

The turn {8-Hearts} and river {8-Diamonds} gave Dang a full house, enabling him to double up to 100,000.

Brown is crippled on 23,000.
