Day 2 Concludes

That brings an end to our coverage of today's $3,000 H.O.R.S.E event where we whittled the field of 133 players down to our final 16. Marcel Luske leads a star-studded field including Jennifer Harman, Blair Rodman, Todd Brunson, Hoyt Corkins, Steve Zolotow, Eric Froehlich and Mickey Appleman.

We expect a long day tomorrow as we return at 3 p.m. to play until we crown ourselves a champion! We look forward to your company then!

Corkins and Hazan Tangle

A pot was three-bet preflop between Hoyt Corkins and JJ Hazan. All streets were bet and called between the two players. The board was {10-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {6-Spades} when showdown occurred. Corkins showed {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {4-Clubs} for the nut low and a pair of queens. The queens were good enough for the high and Corkins moved up to 186,000 in chips.

Marcel Luske Claims Chip Lead!

Omaha-8:

They are dancing in The Netherlands as Marcel Luske has just captured a huge pot to storm to the tournament chip lead late in the evening.

The board read {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Luske raised the flop against David Levi and Alexander Jung, then bet on the turn and river. His opponents folded and Luske flashed {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a full house to move to 325,000 in chips!

After the hand Levi was down to 50,000 while Jung was crippled with only 15,000 in chips left.

Harman Takes a Chunk Out of Tsodikov

Jennifer Harman check-raised a flop of {5-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} against Rostislav Tsodikov. On the turn of the {K-Hearts}, Harman bet and Tsodikov called. On the turn, Harman bet and Tsodikov called yet again. The {3-Clubs} came on the river and again Harman bet, and Tsodikov called.

Harman turned over {4-Spades} {6-Hearts} for a straight and Tsodikov turned over {7-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} for two pair.

After the hand, Harman was up to 170,000. She then won the next pot against Todd Brunson to move up to 215,000 in chips
