Khanis flopped a flush when it came down {Q-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs}. The turn was the {4-Hearts}, the river was the {K-Spades} and Khanis' stack grew to 200,000.

Woo's Table Talk Induces a Check

With the action folded around to the small blind, David Woo called and Edward Salazar checked his option. The flop was {K-Spades} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts}. Woo bet 20,000, Salazar raised to 50,000 and Woo insta-called. The turn was the {Q-Spades} and both players checked. The river came the {3-Spades}. Woo checked, and Salazar reached for one of his stacks of orange 5,000-denomination chips.

"What are you going to bet? 75? 100,000? I'll call anything," Woo said as Salazar cut down his checks and stacked them back up repeatedly.

"You raise the flop check the turn and now you're going to bet the river? What's going on here?" Woo said as he continued to prattle at his opponent.

Salazar ultimately decided to check. Woo turned up {A-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}, Salazar mucked, and Woo won the pot.

Action folded to Sebastian Segovia in the cutoff seat and he raised to 56,000. Dan Lu moved all in from the small blind for about 350,000 and Curtis Early three-bet from the big blind for his whole stack of 450,000. Segovia passed and the players showed:

The flop hit both players as it came {A-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {6-Spades} but Early's kicker still played. The turn and river came the {5-Clubs} and {9-Hearts} respectively and Early's hand was best.

Dan Lu was eliminated in 16th place and will take home a paycheck of $21,905. Early climbs to just over 900,000 in chips on the hand.

Polcari Chips Away at Woo

David Woo raised to 50,000, Michael Polcari raised to 125,000 from the button and Woo called. The flop was {J-Spades} {7-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}. Woo led out for 75,000, Polcari moved all in and Woo folded.

After the hand, Polcari was up to 950,000 while Woo slipped to 830,000.

James Paras Doubles Through Curtis Early

Action folded to James Paras in the cutoff seat and he raised to 52,000. When action hit Curtis Early in the small blind, he moved all in for 495,000. Paras called for his tournament life and the players showed:
