The official end-of-day chip counts for Event #6, $1,500 Omaha Hi/Low Split, have now been released. As expected, Thang Luu's aggressive bubble play has given him a wide margin going into tomorrow's final table. Despite dropping one large pot near the end of the day's play, Luu remains stacked at 560,000, well ahead of second-place Greg Jamison. Here are the contestants in the Thursday finale, sorted by chip count:

Thang Luu 560,000
Greg Jamison 333,000
Chris Falconer 331,000
Scott Clements 315,000
Spencer Lawrence 226,000
Mark Wilds 226,000
George Guzman 196,000
Craig Sabel 160,000
James Pritchard 155,000

Action will resume in this event at 4pm on Thursday, per the "10 Hour" rule allowing for a few hours' sleep for the participants.

We're Done!

At 6:15 a.m Mark Gregorich became our 10th-place finisher and after a grueling 13 hours of play we are finally down to our final table of nine players.

We'll have the official chip counts for you very shortly, but after some very aggressive play on the bubble we expect Thang Luu to hold the chip lead heading into the final day of play tomorrow...err later today!

We've just been informed that the final table will now start at the delayed start time of 4 p.m. PDT to ensure everyone gets plenty of rest. We look forward to your company then!

Gregorich Won't Die

Thang Luu has been raising relentlessly and pounding on the short stacks, and in a recent hand he opened with a raise and Mark Gregorich made an all-in call.

Gregorich: {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Luu: {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and amazingly the river gives Gregorich a Broadway straight for the high and the best low. He was almost down to the felt but now with this scoop he gets his head above water again on about 50,000 in chips.
