What is Happening, in a General Sense?

We've been seeing a lot of flops since dinner, but mostly haven't been getting beyond that, the pot going to whoever bets first once those three cards are out on the board. Geary and Harb have been the most active players by a long way -- Peter Rho hasn't played a hand since they got back.

Geary Getting Tense

Next hand, Adam Adler took a pot off of Geary, taking it down with {A-?} {10-?} on a ten-high board.

A couple hands later, though, Geary moved all in to a raise from Anthony Harb -- Harb passed, and Geary got some of his chips back. He shoved from the button the hand after that as well, and picked up some more blinds and antes.

First Blood to Harb

First hand back, Jim Geary raised from the button and got looked up by Anthony Harb in the small blind.

Flop: {3-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}

Harb checked to Geary who bet 200,000; a swift call later and they were at the turn.

Both players checked the {J-Spades} turn and, indeed, the {9-Hearts} river, and Geary turned over {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts}. Harb, however, took the pot with {5-Clubs} {6-Clubs}.

Everyone's made it back from dinner. Any minute now...

Nearly There

Dinner time is officially over, but the only finalist in sight is Peter Rho, plus it might take a few minutes to get everyone miked up when they do get here. Please stand by...

Geary on the Tear-y

Peter Rho and Jim Geary saw a {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} flop, which Rho checked. Geary bet 200,000, and then Rho raised enough to put Geary all in. A quick call, and a showdown.

Rho: {J-Hearts} {10-Clubs}
Geary: {Q-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}

Turn: {9-Spades}
River: {2-Clubs}

A full double up to just under 2,000,000 for Geary, and we continue four-handed.

Adler's Railers High on Jerky

Adler - very popular with jerky enthusiasts

Anthony Harb raised to 150,000 under the gun and got looked up by both Adam Adler in the small blind and Jim Geary in the big.

The blinds checked the {Q-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {9-Hearts} flop and Harb bet 250,000 -- but Adler made it 600,000 to go and both players folded.

"Woo!" shouted the railers. "More Jack Link's to celebrate! Hey, are those nuggets? Get the teriyaki..."
