Pat Wheel? That'll Work

Bruno Fitoussi moved all in for 23,500 from UTG, Michael Binger called from middle position and David Benyamine called from the big blind. Benyamine and Fitoussi each drew one while Binger was pat.

Benyamine checked, Binger bet 40,000 and Benyamine folded. Binger showed down a pat wheel, 7-5-4-3-2, to take down the pot and eliminate Fitoussi.

Allemann Hits the Rail

At the same time that Mark Weitzman was busting, Anton Allemann moved all in from the button and was called by Dan Harmetz out of the big blind. Harmetz was pat with 10-9-6-5-3; Harmetz threw away one card to draw at 9-7-5-4. He pulled a 10, but his 10-9-7 was just slightly behind Harmetz's 10-9-6. As a result Allemann is out.

The tournament is on pause for a re-draw. We'll have the seat assignments posted in a few moments.

Mark Weitzman Eliminated

John Juanda raised to 12,000, Mark Weitzman moved all in for 12,500 and Juanda called. Each player drew one card.

Juanda drew a four to make T-6-5-4-3. Weitzman pulled an eight and couldn't beat it with T-8-7-3-2.

With Weitzmann's elimination, we're at 21 players and the clock has been paused for a redraw to three tables of seven.

Fitoussi's Turn

The short stacks have shown amazing resilience during the last two hours. Bruno Fitoussi is the latest to throw his name on the "Refuse to Die" list. He was drawing for his tournament life after Max Pescatori rapped pat with J-10. Fitoussi opened 2-3-4-5, needing a 7, 8, 9, 10 or J to remain in the tournament. He pulled a 9 to double up to 45,000.

Booth Hits His Draw

Play has slowed down considerably now with four short-handed tables in play and nobody exceptionally short. We did watch Doug Booth get all in for 49,000 before the draw after Nick Schulman opened for 9,000. Schulman called and stood pat with T-7-5-3-2; Booth drew one holding 9-7-6-2 and caught an 8 for the double-up.

Booth is now on about 100,000.
