Nenad Hammers Thibaut

Nenad Medic opened to 41,000 on the button and Klinghammer Thibaut called from the big blind.

The dealer flopped {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {A-Spades} and Thibaut checked again. Medic took the opportunity to bet 62,000 and Thibaut called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Thibaut checked a third time. Medic cut out a five green T25,000 chips, added two yellow T1,000 chips and bet 127,000.

Thibaut instantly folded and Medic pulled in the pot.

Medic With a Weird One

John "Tex" Barch opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Nenad Medic was his only caller out of the big blind.

Both players checked the {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} flop and the dealer brought the {3-Diamonds} on the turn.

Medic check-called 80,000 from Barch and both players again checked after the {9-Spades} rivered.

Medic rolled over {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} for runner-runner two pair and Barch sweated his cards one more time before releasing him.

That's Omaha for ya, flush draw turned ugly yet winning two pair.

Medic's Aggression

Nenad Medic is still our chip leader today and hasn't relinquished his lead thus far.

He took down the first down four-handed after Trai Dang opened to 50,000 from under the gun. Medic called on the button and so too did Klinghammer Thibaut from the big blind.

The flop fell {8-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Thibaut checked, Dang bet and Medic raised to over 200,000. Thibaut quickly folded and after showing an ace, Dang's hand hit the muck as well.

Medic's still our chip leader with 1,600,000 chips.

Razavi Crippled

Trai Dang opened to 45,000 from the cutoff and Ashkan Razavi was his only caller out of the big blind.

Both player checked the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop and the {3-Hearts} turned. Razavi check-called 55,000 from Dang and the {7-Clubs} fell on the river.

Razavi checked again and Dang doubled fisted 200,000 into the pot. Razavi only had 229,000 and set aside enough for the call before going deep into the tank. Dang sat back in his chair and crossed his arms, staring at Razavi through his gold-framed sunglasses.

Finally, after over a minute of thinking, Razavi made the call.

Dang opened {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for aces full of threes and Razavi unhappily mucked his hand.

Razavi is very short, he only has 29,000 chips.
