The Stage is Set For a Thrilling Finale

The eyes of the world will be on Phil Ivey
The eyes of the world will be on Phil Ivey

Welcome back to the Amazon Room of the Rio Hotel and Casino for Day 3 of Event #37: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. Our field is down to the last 25 competitors and what a stellar lineup we have!

Our chip leader is John Juanda who has displayed remarkable form at this year's WSOP, already with two fourths and one fifth place to his credit, all in mixed game variations. He'll be looking to add a fourth bracelet to his poker resume this evening, but boy, what a challenge it will be.

The name that stands out from all others is none other than the great Phil Ivey. The rail is guaranteed to be three and four deep today thanks to his presence. Can Ivey make it bracelet number eight? It will provide a thrilling conclusion later tonight if he gets close.

There are a plethora of other big name pros with credentials that have the potential to take them all the way, including David Benyamine, Bill Chen, Dan Heimiller, David Singer, Chad Brown, Scott Seiver and of course 2009 WSOP Player of the Year Jeff Lisandro.

This is going to be one hell of a final day!

All the action kicks off at 3pm local time, which is about 30 minutes from now. Keep your browser locked into PokerNews.com and frantically hit that refresh button as we will do our best to bring you every bit of excitement, live as it happens from the tournament floor.
