Racener Down to 100K

Racener: {X-}{X-}/{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}/{X-}
Rodawig: {X-}{X-}/{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Hearts}/{X-}

Eric Rodawig defended his bring in. He check-called Racener's bet on fourth street and then took the lead with a bet on fifth street. Racener called and bet his pair on sixth street. Rodawig called and when seventh street came, Racener checked. Rodawig bet, was called, and announced just a low. However, the dealer pointed out his flush with {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} under, winning the pot and knocking Racener down significantly.

Rodawig Scoops Hellmuth

Eric Rodawig: {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} / {3-Hearts}
Phil Hellmuth: {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} / {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{3-Spades} / {5-Clubs}

Rodawig raised and Hellmuth called. Rodawig bet fourth before Hellmuth led out on fifth only for the chip leader to raise. Hellmuth quickly called and snap-called bets on sixth and seventh, Rodawig picked out the three to make him a 6-5-4-3-A and a straight to crack Hellmuth's trip aces.

Hellmuth was left muttering to himself about how he had freerolled Rodawig so many times and never managed to scoop him.

Racener Clinging On

Level 27 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

John Racener has been all in twice since that last hand, both times making a low to chop the pot against Eric.

Sooner or later something is going to give, either Racener will double or we will be heads up.
