Welcome to Day 2 of Event 35: $2,500 Mixed Hold'em. At the end of the night last night, 87 players remained from the 393 that began the day.

Leading the way into Day 2 will be gold bracelet winner Andre Akkari with 108,700 in chips. Behind him is Michael Malm and then another bracelet winner, David Williams, sits in third overall.

Other players still in contention are Bryan Devonshire, Joe Serock, David "OBD" Baker, James Demsey and the one and only Phil Ivey. Ivey will be doing a lot of running today as he's double dipping between this and Event 36: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout.

The top 45 places pay and we'll be working our way towards the money and final table here on Day 2. Stay tuned for all the coverage straight to you from PokerNews kicking off shortly at 2:00 PM.
