Matthew Ashton Eliminated in 7th Place ($18,266)

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Matthew Ashton - 7th place
Matthew Ashton - 7th place

On the 44th hand of the final table we found Scott Seiver completing before Freddie Ellis made the call. Matthew Ashton called all-in for his last 17,000 before Seiver bet fourth with Ellis calling before he took the lead on fifth.

Seiver called, and then bet sixth before Ellis raised to 48,000. Seiver made the call and then both players checked seventh.

Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} / {X-}
Ellis: {X-}{X-} / {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} / {X-}
Ashton: {X-}{X-} / {J-Diamonds}{9c]{K-Hearts}{2-Spades} / {X-}

Ellis tabled his {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for trip fives to prompt a fold from Seiver as Ashton fluashed his {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for jacks-up. Unfortunately for Ashton he wouldn't be able to improve on his 2nd and 3rd places this series as he headed to the rail in 7th place for a $18,266 payday.
