Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite and Casino and the 2018 World Series of Poker for Day 2 of the Event #44: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship!

Day 1 saw 100 players take to the felt throughout the day, and while the action was fast and furious, just 41 players would be there at the end of the day. Fortunately for many players, registration is open until play begins here on Day 2, and with players busting late in Event #42, the total entries number is expected to climb.

Leading those players into Day 2 is Michael Noori who bagged an impressive 335,000 in chips. Noori sat atop the chip counts for the majority of Day 1, and held off a late run from Germany's Max Kruse (282,000) and Canada's Christopher Kruk (247,500).

A plethora of WSOP bracelet winners remain, including Lawrence Berg (171,000), Andrey Zhigalov (170,500), Chris Vitch (159,500), Benny Glaser (156,000), Eli Elezra (155,500), Farzad Bonyadi (143,000), Todd Brunson (137,500), and Mike Matusow (136,500) all sitting with an above-average chip stack. Also in contention is Hanh Tran (72,000) who won the $1,500 buy-in version of this game just under a week ago.

Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. (PDT) with the PokerNews Live Reporting Team providing continuous live updates throughout the day. So stay tuned to PokerNews for all your Event #44 coverage, along with updates from the remainder of the 2018 WSOP!
