Day 1 of Event $45: Big Blind Antes $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em (30 minute levels) starts at 11 a.m. This is a two-day event and a new event on the 2018 WSOP calendar. The tournament will implement a Big Blind Ante Structure, which means that the ante will come from the big blind and will speed up the game.

Players will begin with 5,000 in chips and will play twenty 30-minute levels. There will be a 20-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 12, at approximately 5:40 p.m.. Late registration will close after the first 8 levels, which will be around 3.40 p.m. local time.

Players who find a bag at the end of the day, will continue to battle it out on Saturday, June 23 at 12:00 p.m. until a winner is crowned.
