WSOP 2007 Team

Harry Briggs really needed to get out of the house for some fresh air. After winning his entry into the 2007 World Series Main Event, the Leyland local went for a walk. “I was honestly amazed I had done it”, he mentioned, “[I was] quite proud actually”. Harry will join Team PokerNews at the Main Event although this isn’t the first time he has been to the World Series. Having attended the 2005 World Series to see his son play, Harry is all too familiar with the pressure and the intensity that is the Main Event. Harry began playing poker three years ago because he saw modern poker as a challenge; a game of skill. Focussing his efforts on No Limit Texas Holdem online tournaments, Harry’s previous biggest victory came in the form of a $2500 prize in a multi-table online tournament. Apart from poker, Harry enjoys fishing, jogging, swimming and generally keeping fit. Let’s hope all Harry’s fitness and competitiveness pays off when he joins Team PokerNews at this year’s World Series Main Event.
