WSOP 2007 Team

Marek Kolk ‘The Maverick’ has been playing poker for 8 years and has had a number of tournament cashes over the last two years. His biggest cash to date was his win in the 2006 Pacific Poker UK Open, where he collected an impressive $250,000. Last year Marek cashed three times at the WSOP, and has carried his good form into 2007 with impressive performances at the Aussie Millions, and the Spring Poker Festival. Marek or ‘The Maverick’ as he has become known, is unsure exactly how he got his nickname, but believes that most likely explanation is caused by his less than perfect English pronunciation. Expect ‘The Maverick’ to make a great showing at this year’s WSOP.
