WSOP 2007 Team

Nicholas is a university student from Perth who is currently in his final year studying film and television. Although he has always been interested in poker, Nicholas only got involved just over three years ago through watching the WPT and WSOP on television. After being introduced to some poker-playing English backpackers, Nick became involved in a weekly homegame and was hooked. Inbetween his studies, Nick fits in over 30 hours of online poker – but he is no slouch at live play either, having won the $1,100 Limit Hold’em Event at this year’s Aussie Millions for $54,400. Interestingly, Nick didn’t even know he had qualified for the Team PokerNews WSOP, but was lucky enough to be playing at PartyPoker when the tournament started and automatically popped up. Hopefully he can carry his luck into his first World Series of Poker Main Event.
