    Andrew Lichtenberger Doubles Up

    From the cut off Antoine Berube min-raised to 20,000 and Andrew Lichtenberger moved all in from the button for 122,000. Berube made the call with {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} but was in bad shape against the {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} of Lichtenberg.

    The board came {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {8-Spades} allowing Lichtenberger to double up to 260,000. Berube drops to only 56,000.

    * * *
    Just two hands later, Berube manages to double up with {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} to bring him back up to 128,000.

    Four-Way Stop

    Here's a hand in which there was not an all in. Or a showdown.

    Roland de Wolfe raised to 122,000 from under the gun, Torrey Reily called from middle position, Andrew Lichtenberger called from the small blind, and Bahador Ahmadi called from the big blind.

    All four checked the {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop. The turn was the {7-Hearts}. Lichtenberger fired out 51,000, Ahmadi folded, de Wolfe called, then Reily reraised to 151,000, forcing all to fold.

    Chip counts after the hand: Reily 420,000, de Wolfe 400,000, Ahmadi 270,000, and Lichtenberger 185,000.

    Gregg Merkow Doubles Big

    From early position Gregg Merkow raised to 31,000. Action folded around to Jochen Dickenger, in the big blind, who made a huge all in shove. With 213,000 behind, Merkow took his time before calling with {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}. Dickinger showed {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts}.

    The flop came {8-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts}, leaving Dickinger drawing stone dead.

    Merkow doubles up in a big way and is now just over 250,000.

    Lagarde out in 30th

    Matt Lagarde pushed all in from under the gun, and John Hoang called from the small blind.

    Hoang {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
    Lagarde {J-Spades}{9-Spades}

    The flop came {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, and Lagarde was in the lead. The turn was {8-Diamonds}, and he was still good. But the {A-Spades} spiked on the river, giving Hoang the better pair.

    Lagarde is out in 30th ($11,886), and Hoang is up to 490,000.

    John Hoang Triples Up

    Philip Sousa raised to 27,000 from middle position and John Hoang moved all in for 135,000. Jochen Dickinger flat called from the button as did Sousa.

    The board came {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {3-Spades} with both Dickinger and Sousa checking it down. Hoang flipped over {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for a flush and his two opponents mucked.

    Hoang yelled out "Yes, Yes, Yes!" as he tripled up.

    John Hoang - 425,000
    Philip Sousa - 482,000
    Jochen Dickinger - 390,000
