    Siegal Sends One Out

On a flop of {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}, Gregory Thorson got himself all in, and he was put to the test by Jeffrey Siegal.

Thorson showed down {10-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} for the gutterball and the flush draw, but he was in pretty bad shape against the {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} of Siegal.

The turn and river came {6-Clubs} and {4-Clubs} respectively, no use to Thorson. He has been sent packing, and that table is now heads up to advance.

    Jeffrey Siegal - 265,000
    Joshua Tieman - 185,000

    Brandon Wong - Advances
    Brandon Wong - Advances

    Brandon Wong is Moving On

We're down to nine tables remaining as Brandon Wong has defeated Robert Fikac in heads-up play.

The players got all of their chips in preflop with Wong holding {A-Spades}{9-Spades} vs. Fikac's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. When the flop came {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Wong took the lead. The {A-Spades} kept Fikac alive on the turn, but the {10-Hearts} was not what he was looking for on the river.

Wong is now guaranteed at least $13,609 when he returns for tomorrow's final table.

    Brunnetti Cut Down

Franco Brunetti was all in holding {6-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} against the {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs} of Joseph Cutler. The board ran {5-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}, and Cutler's pair of tens was enough to eliminate Brunetti and put himself heads up with Petr Jelinek for a spot at tomorrow's final table.

    Yarlagadda Goes Broke

With the blinds climbing, Srinivasa Yarlagadda decided {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} was good enough to risk his last 27,000 chips with. Jan Skampa looked at {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} in the big blind and decided it was good enough to call with.

When neither player improved on the board of {9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Skampa won the hand with ace-king high.

    Binger Takes a Chunk

In his heads-up match, Ralph Shannon had the button and he opened with a raise to 5,000. Nick Binger came back with a second raise, making it 22,000 straight. Shannon wasn't deterred though, re-reraising to 55,000. Binger wanted to show it down, five-betting all in over the top, just slightly covering his opponent.

Shannon considered his options carefully before getting rid of his hand and choosing to battle it out in a better spot.

    Binger - 290,000
    Shannon - 160,000
