From Short Stack to Winner: Alexey Popov Advances

Kenneth Middleton is all in before the flop with {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} against the {A-Spades} {5-Hearts} of Alexey Popov.

The board comes {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Spades} giving Popov runner-runner straight to take down the pot.

Thanks to a double up on the previous hand and hitting two perfect cards on the turn and river, Alexey Popov advances to the next round.

    Baxter Takes Out Ingles

Michael Baxter has just taken care of Jared Ingles. He held {8-?} {6-?} against the {A-?} {9-?} of Ingles, and both players checked the flop of {10-?} {6-?} {2-?}. When a {3-?} hit fourth street, Baxter bet 7,000, and Ingles check-raised all in. Baxter made a good call with the best hand, and the river blanked off.

With that, Michael Baxter earns himself a spot in tomorrow's field.

Running as the sun was setting was fun. I need to do more of it. Interesting news too, 6 Kentucky congressmen support pushing UIGEA back.
