Defending champ, Thang Luu, still going strong!
Defending champ, Thang Luu, still going strong!

    Luu Back to the Top

Thang Luu has just stormed back up the leaderboard in the past few minutes. On a recent hand, the board read {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {5-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} and Luu bet into Jordan Rich. The pot was very large and after tanking for a few moments, Rich made the call. Luu showed Rich the nut full house with two kings in his hand and moved up to a whopping 270,000 after just recently having below the 100,000-chip mark.

Can Luu repeat his performance from last year? Can he go wire to wire for a second gold bracelet? Only time will tell.
