    That's a Wrap!

    We saw 213 players roll into the Amazon room today to play down to the final nine. However, now that play has wrapped up for the evening, seventeen still remain.

    Darus Suharto, Shaun Deeb, Jared Hamby, Lika Gerasimova, Rob Hollink, Michael Binger, Kenna James and David 'Chino' Rheem were just a handful of the notables that started the day but fell short of a day three birth.

    Corwin Cole started the day as chip leader, but with all the chips bagged and tagged it will be Steven Tabb sitting on top with 1,086,000 in chips. Snapping closely at his heels will be Andrew Seden (995,000), Warren Woodall (881,000) and Pat Atchison (852,000).

    Two females still remain in the final seventeen; Laurence Grondin (608,000) and Almira Skripchenko (407,000) are both in great shape to capture the first open ladies bracelet since Vanessa Selbst won the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha event in 2008.

    Action kicks off at 1pm tomorrow, so make sure to log on to PokerNews to catch every rivered flush, turned straight and flopped set as we battle down to a champion!

    Seden Shows Trips

    Andrew Seden raised to 35,000 and got called by Warren Woodall before both players checked a flop of {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

    Seden bet 50,000 when the {7-Clubs} hit the turn and Woodall called. The {4-Clubs} on the river didn't appear to change a thing as Seden bet 50,000 more and Woodall called.

    When Seden showed {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Woodall mucked. His stack is now 880,000 while Seden has hit 1 million.

    Ken Yates Eliminated in 18th Place ($21,008)

    Ken Yates moved all in from the small blind and Jonathan Plens made the call from the big blind.

    Yates: {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
    Plens: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

    After a flop of {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Yates would need a queen that didn't come as the board finished {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. He left with $21,008 while Plens increased his stack to 370,000.

    Joe Cutler eliminated in 19th place
    Joe Cutler eliminated in 19th place

    Joe Cutler and Robby Mazzie Eliminated in 19th and 20th Place ($15,270)

    With the action folding round to Joe Cutler in the cutoff he moved all in for roughly 200,000. Andrew White called on the button with little hesitation and Robby Mazzie was put to a decision.

    Mazzie pondered for nearly three minutes before making the call for his 56,000, and with that the cards were tabled.

    Cutler: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
    White: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
    Mazzie: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

    The board ran out {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to see Cutler fall in 19th as Mazzie hit the rail in 20th while White soared to 750,000 in chips.

    Smith Doubles Through Cole

    Corwin Cole made it 20,000 to go and Jordan Smith pushed the action to 65,000. It folded back to Cole who reraised all in, and Smith called off for 375,000.

    Smith: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
    Cole: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

    Smith took the lead when he caught top pair on a flop of {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, but had to sweat a flush draw when the turn came {2-Spades}. The {J-Hearts} on the river didn't change a thing, and Smith doubled to 775,000 while Cole slipped to 410,000.

    Woodall: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
    Seden: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

    Woodall got no help as the board fell {J-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{Q-Spades}, and Seden doubled up to 790,000. Woodall fell back to 840,000.
