    The man to beat tomorrow...
    The man to beat tomorrow...

    That's A Wrap

After a long, disrupted day of poker we've whittled 116 players down to our final 25. They are all going to sleep easier tonight with $25,817 already locked up, but most have their sights set on a much bigger collect.

If we thought today was long, strap yourself in for a huge day of Pot Limit Omaha tomorrow. These guys are the best of the best. They're not going to throw this away lightly. Expect play to extend until the wee hours of tomorrow morning before a WSOP champion is crowned.

The lineup is packed with Austin and Marcus looking for back-to-back PLO final tables, Williams, Lederer, Greenstein and Arieh all desperate to taste more WSOP gold, and overnight chip leader Noah Schwartz with over 1.2 million chips, looking to go coast-to-coast for what would be a tremendous victory.

It all kicks off again at 1pm tomorrow. If you can't get down to the Rio to watch the action in person, then stay locked into PokerNews as we bring this baby home. Until then, good night!

    Nenad Makes Late Full House

Nenad Medic has been battling the short stack for a long time but he's just found a double up to get his head above water as he heads into day three.

His {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} was able to improve against the {K-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} of Todd Barlow when the board ran out {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

Nenad's full house takes him to 150,000 with Barlow back to 98,000.

    Erick Lindgren - 27th Place
    Erick Lindgren - 27th Place

Erick Lindgren Eliminated in 27th Place ($25,817)

We caught the action on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{A-Clubs} where after a series of raises, Erick Lingren found his last chips in the middle against Josh Arieh.

Lindgren tabled {Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair with straight draws, but Arieh held {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a set of aces.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Lindgren took the lead with his straight but the river was the {Q-Hearts} to give both players a full house, with Arieh's aces full of queens taking the pot.

"Wow, that's the second time I've lost with a full house," sighed Lindgren.

"It's bust your buddy day," replied Arieh.

Lindgren is first to the cashier to collect $25,817 with Arieh up to 460,000 chips.

    Nam Le Bubbles

Well Nam Le has entertained us with his multi-tabling skills today and probably got in some good exercise running between events, but unfortunately it's all been for nothing in this event as he's just become our bubble boy.

After Stefan Mattsson opened with a raise to 25,000, Nam Le (who had returned to the table) committed his last chips from the big blind.

Le was short and had to gamble with his {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} but he found he'd run into Mattsson's {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

The board fell {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Mattsson's aces hold to eliminate Le from the tournament. Le quickly grabbed his bag and scurried back to the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event, as the remaining 27 players redraw for the final three tables.

    Hand For Hand

With the elimination of Ernst Schmejkal in 29th place, the tournament is now being played hand for hand. It will continue until the next elimination, when the money is reached.

    * Nam Le is still in the tournament, despite only playing a few hands the whole day. With 50,000 in front of his empty seat, the question becomes, will he be able to sneak into the money???
