Tue Jun 23 2009Winner of Event 40 - $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Omaha
Professional poker player Matt Graham has done at the age of 25 what most fail to do in a lifetime... win a WSOP gold bracet. What's more impressive? He's done it twice. The former pre-med student dropped out of college to play cards professionally, and the dividends are paying off in waves. A spirited heads-up battle with Vitaly Lunkin that started dead even saw Graham crippled and then recover through a series of double-ups to get himself back into the contest and ultimately in front when the cards finally fell his way. Graham will take home $679,402 in prize money for the win.
