Bahador AhmadiCongratulations Bahador Ahmadi, Winner of Event 47
In the end, it took just one hand for Bahador Ahmadi to claim the bracelet.
When John McGuiness moved all in for his last 200,000, Ahmadi could easily afford the call after amassing a huge chip lead during the previous Limit session, mostly by calling down the uber-aggressive McGuiness.
Ahmadi played solidly over the course of the entire final table, changing gears when necessary and never appearing rattled even as play grew more aggressive at a short-handed table. In the end, his measured approach toward paid off with a victory worth $278,104 and a shiny new bracelet.
Congratulations to our deserving champion! -
