Did anyone catch the number of heads-up hands they played?
good "night"... well played and very well covered!!! Thanks change100 and TassieDevil!
Thanks for sticking around, guys. Bedtime!
Congratulations man, well done. Get some sleep everybody :-)
Epic
Bloody Marys all round....Cheers!
the 2006 H.O.R.S.E was just no limit because it was thought that it would be better for tv and that some viewers might not understand any other games.
It was, because it was NL holdem, Antonius had less than 10k in chips IIRC
Was the final table of the 2006 HORSE event nlhe only?
The live coverage guys seem to think they've played about 5 hands less than you guys?
Damn no we have to break the record
The last handddd comon
I think I have that same hat.
60-70 hour sessions in live games aren't all that unusual. Rare, but everyone has done it at least once.
That said, massive respect to the stamina of everyone involved!
Although Hanson and Bach are still awake, their respective gamble appears to have gone to.....Zzzzzzzz.
Thanks TassieDevil.
limit games are actually pretty quick. players dont need to think much about each decision. NL requires deeper thought. some of the stud games take a while to deal if you go to 7th, but a lot of today's stud hands haven't even reached 4th
The Juanda/Alehkin epic was just No Limit Hold'em too. Wouldn't these mixed games actually be longer per hand depending on some of the games?
well i came to work 10 hours ago and it was 3 handed and im gonna leave while play is still goin lol didnt think this would happen!
LOL did Bach just say he did a 64 hour session once?
the 2006 HORSE Day 2 went even longer, started at noon, ended at 9am the next day. For whatever reason they planned a 50k buyin mostly limit event to go 3 days
i wonder how many deepstacks.com (BTW Mike still knows poker!) and PPA commercials I have sat through now since this final table started
Probaby a nervous stomach!
Hey wtf Bach is doing on the bathroom?
Thank God ESPN isn't showing this on TV...they'd edit the FT down to 13 total hands, 1 heads up.
my bad pauly, you didn't chime in when I asked about the longest WSOP final table :-)...big fan BTW!!! figured i should answer my own question since tassie asked for help
Do you guys have to do coverage today at noon as well?
When Chip Reese won the final table started at 9pm, heads-up started just after 2 am nd finished just before 9.30 am!
currently less than 10 spectators
Cronk, I think it's hysterical that you spammed the ShoutBox with an old article that I wrote
bloch/reese went 354 hands...so this has it beat...ended around 9:30 AM, so we are approaching that as well
Never mind the November Nine, here's the December Duo :)
So how long until this beats wsope me in lenght?
bloch/reese- http://www.pokermagazine.com/Poker-Tournaments/HORSE-tourney-World-Series-of-Poker.html
Are there any spectators left heath?
Fantastic job you guys. I hope you have a hot breakfast and warm bed waiting for you!
Great job with the coverage. Hang in there - sleep will come soon.
we think bloch vs reese in 2006 finished at 9:30am but we're not sure what time it started. perhaps one of our loyal railbirds could do the research we're too tired to do? :-)
is this the longest WSOP final table in Vegas?
not sure about HU, can work it out...later...;-)
446 hands on final table
Just took 11h nap and still playin, wow. How many hands they've played HU?
hanson on a rush....
lol more chops...amazing
yeah 4 million pot for 14 million chips... it's becoming ridiculous
i have a feeling we are done within 15 minutes
anyone wanna take a bet on the number of hands?
FYI we're currently at 436 hands
Juanda/Alehkin was 484 hands and close to 22 hours.
