PokerNews and Betfair Poker have come together to create an exclusive promotion that will see two lucky players walk away with a $1,400 package to the upcoming Betfair Poker LIVE London Main Event at the Fox Poker Club on February 17-19.
The packages will be given away to the players who finish first and second in a freeroll that will take place at 19:00 GMT / 20:00 CET on February 4. Entry to this superb freeroll is restricted to those PokerNews players who have earned just 50 Player Points between January 9 and February 1. Player Points are awarded at a rate of 3.6 per $1 in tournament fees and 3.6 per $1 in rake (as per the Essence System) at the cash game tables meaning you can earn a seat in the $2,800 freeroll for less than $14.

The freeroll needs 10 players in order to start but that should not be a problem with such low entry requirements.

The Betfair Poker LIVE Event Package worth $1,400 cannot be exchanged for cash and must be redeemed on the Betfair Poker LIVE London Event in February 2012.
Only Player Points earned at tables at which a seat is taken after the promotion has started will count towards qualification. For example, if you sit down at a table at 23:55 GMT on 8th January and then go on to play until 00:15 GMT on the 9th January then no Player Points earned during that session will count towards your total. However if you were to sit down at 00:01 GMT on 9th January and play until 00:15 GMT then all of the Player Points earned in the period would count.
Only Player Points earned at tables at which a seat is left before the promotion has ended will count towards qualification. For example, if you leave a table at 23:59 GMT on 1st February then the Player Points earned during the session you are leaving will count towards your total. However if you were to stand up at 00:01 GMT on 2nd February then none of the Player Points earned at that table in that particular session will count towards your total.
