PokerStars heads to Barcelona from Aug. 15-27 for the Barcelona Championship and you could be heading to Spain to play in the €5,300 buy-in Main Event for as little as $1.10.
On Aug. 12, at 9:05 p.m. CET, PokerStars is hosting a $1.10 buy-in tournament that is only open to players who have created their PokerStars account via PokerNews links and who have used PokerNews' marketing codes during 2016 and 2017.
This $1.10 tournament sees players sit down with 3,000 chips and play to a blind structure that sees the blinds increase every 10-minutes. For the first 60-minutes of play, players can make unlimited rebuys of 3,000 chips for $1.10 and when the rebuy period ends, an add-on of 4,500 chips is available for only $1.10.
There is a $7,300 prize pool for the Barcelona Championship PokerNews Cheaproll and this is made up of a €5,300 PokerStars Barcelona Championship Main Event seat for the champion and $1,000 of cash distributed to the players finishing in positions second through 20th.
Winners of the €5,300 seat are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The PokerStars Barcelona Championship Main Event takes place from Aug. 21-27 at the Casino Barcelona and boasts of a massive €7 million guaranteed prize pool. A total of 10 tournaments are on the schedule and have buy-ins ranging from €220 to €50,000.
