PokerNews.com Brings You The Aussie Millions – Live! 0001

Join us for the next two weeks as we bring you all the action from the Aussie Millions poker tournament series live from Melbourne, Australia. Simply click the 'Live Poker Tournaments' icon on the right side of the main blue navigation bar to be taken to our coverage of the Aussie Millions.

No major tournament has grown as quickly over the last two years as the Aussie Millions, with entries in the Main Event in 2006 nearly doubling that of 2005. This year, the number of Main Event entrants is expected to nearly double the 2006 number.

The Crown Casino in Melbourne do everything they can to ensure the best player experience, both on and off the felt. This, and the allure of the great city of Melbourne make the Aussie Millions one of the premiere stops on the tournament circuit.

The Aussie Millions is not just a run of No Limit Hold Em tournaments. The Crown have put in several events to spice up the schedule, and a couple events that will have elite fields.

On January 12th, we'll bring you all the action as the $100,000 buy in (Australian Dollars – about $78,000 US) No Limit Hold Em tournament kicks off.

Another great event in the series is the $5,000 (AUD) buy in Australian Heads Up Championship on January 16th and 17th.

Stay tuned to PokerNews.com for all the action in all the events, starting later today with Event # 1, a $1,000 buy in No Limit Event that is sure to have a big field. Cards will be in the air at about 12:30pm local time (5:30 pm Los Angeles time).
