The chip counts at the start of the final table were as follows:

Daniel "Allanon85" Drescher — 287,464

Ryan "ryanbluf" Karp — 252,828

Adam "skilled_sox" Ewenstein — 138,040

MPetes — 79,678

Dan "djk123" Kelly — 64,607

Brad "smerks" Marsh — 44,325

Kenrof — 44,244

1trish — 30,832

Luke "Bdbeatslayer" Vrabel — 29,982

In consecutive hands at the 1,250/2,500/250 level, 1trish and Dan "djk123" Kelly were eliminated. 1trish ran Ah9s into Brad "smerks" Marsh's {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and did not catch up, taking home $6,125 for ninth place. Kelly shoved for 31,125 with {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and found action from Ryan "ryanbluf" Karp who held {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Kelly grabbed the lead when the flop came {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, but Karp caught the {a-Diamonds} on the turn. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Dan Kelly was out in eighth place for $8,750. The next to depart was Kenrof, at 1,500/3,000/300. Ryan Karp raised to 7,899 under the gun and Kenrof went all in for 59,016 from the button, with {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Karp called with {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and held on to win the hand as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Kenrof collected $12,250 for seventh place.

A few hands later, Brad "smerks" Marsh raised to 7,875 under the gun and Adam "skilled_sox" Ewenstein called on the button. The flop was {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Marsh put out a continuation bet of 14,250. Ewenstein shoved all in and Marsh called all in for 42,581 with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Marsh's aces were slightly ahead of skilled_sox's {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} heading to fourth street, where the {10-Clubs} fell, keeping Marsh in the lead. However, fifth street was the {2-Diamonds} and made a flush for Ewenstein, busting Brad "smerks" Marsh in sixth place for $15,750.

MPetes hit the rail later in the level. He opened to 7,000 on the button and Ryan Karp re-raised from the small blind with the big stack. MPetes called all in for 66,028 and tabled {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} to Karp's {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The board ran out {3-Spades}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} as Karp took down the pot and ended MPetes' tournament in fifth place for $20,650. Luke "Bdbeatslayer" Vrabel departed two hands later after he got it in with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} on a {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} board against Daniel "Allanon85" Drescher's {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. The turn was the {10-Clubs} and kept Vrabel in the lead, but the {a-Hearts} on the river sent Vrabel's hand to the muck. He took home $29,750 for fourth place.

On the last hand of the level, Ewenstein exited in third place. In a battle of the blinds, Daniel "Allanon85" Drescher five-bet all in with the bigger stack and Ewenstein called all in with {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Drescher held {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and fell way behind when the flop came {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The {k-Diamonds} turn kept Ewenstein's set in the lead, but the {5-Clubs} river gave Drescher the winning straight. Adam "Skilled_sox" Ewenstein won $39,550 for the third-place showing. The chip counts to begin heads-up play were the following:

Daniel "Allanon85" Drescher — 592,998

Ryan "ryanbluf" Karp — 379,002

Just as heads-up play began, Daniel "Allanon85" Drescher took down the $100 re-buy tournament elsewhere on Stars for over $26,000, and aimed to lock up the victory here as well. The match lasted into the 4,000/8,000/800 level before Drescher captured his second win in an hour's time. At one point he surrendered the lead, but finally managed to best Ryan Karp's A-10 with his own K-J. On the final hand, Drescher opened to 19,999 and Karp re-raised to 60,000. Drescher four-bet shoved and Karp called all in 197,044 with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Drescher tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and won the tournament when the board ran out {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.
