The first event in the PokerNetwork League saw "cwt007" take down first place and top the leader board after one event. Not only did he win cash and league points, he also captured an added value ticket to the $50,000 Guaranteed Sunday Cubed Tournament on PokerStars. He now has 10 leader board points, which give him a great chance of getting him into the 27 person ANZPT League Final on September 28.

More About the PokerNetwork League
Anyone who makes the final table of a league event will score between 1 to 10 points, but will also score an additional point for every tournament played. So it is in your interest to play as many games as possible, so you do not get overtaken by anyone else.
Every player can choose one of the final four tournaments (between Aug. 31 and Sept. 21) to be declared a Wild Card Tournament, which will score a player double league points. You need to declare your wild card tournament before it starts in the dedicated forum thread over at PokerNetwork.
