- Dealt into a milestone hand: (No. of VPPs in last 50 hands x $675) +$75
- Win milestone hand: (No. VPPs in last 50 hands x $75+$75) x2
For example, if you were playing at a $1/$2 table and were dealt into a milestone hand having generated 31VPPs in the last 50 hands your prize would be $2,400 (31*$75+$75). Had you won the milestone hand, your prize would have doubled to $4,800!
Astronomical prizes are being given away during the 100 billionth hand. Everyone dealt into the milestone hand will win a minimum of $10,000, while the winner will have no less than $100,000 placed into his PokerStars account!
But that's not all! PokerStars guarantees it will pay out $1,000,000 during the 100 billionth hand celebration, so whatever prize money is left over after paying out those players dealt into hand number 100 billion will be given away to all the players that were dealt into the same stake and betting structure as the 100 billionth hand!
World Record Tournament
The 100 billionth hand is so important to PokerStars that it has decided to continue the celebrations even once that milestone hand has been dealt and everyone is rolling in money! On June 16, PokerStars is running a tournament with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool that costs just $1 to enter.
