Hungary’s Balazs “birs320” Botond is the latest stellar name to win PokerStarsSunday Million, taking down the Jan. 8 edition to secure $158,981.69.

Botond, a former Ivey Poker pro, has won more than $1.5 million from online poker tournaments in his career thanks in part to reaching two Super Tuesday final tables and the final nine of both a TCOOP and WCOOP event, plus an additional $1.08 million from his live tournament exploits.

Argentina’s “TEENageTuRtL” won the $59,657.85 first-place prize of the $215 Sunday Warm-Up this week, with “profit76” triumphing in the $1,050 Sunday Grand NLHE, a finish worth $56,437.71.

The largest cash at partypoker this weekend is now in the account of British grinder Oliver “ThreeBunPass” Price who won the $2,600 Super High Roller for the second time in the space of two months to add $43,750 to his lifetime winnings.

This week’s $530 High Roller ended in a heads-up chop between “SentimenTODO23” and “dartazz” who collected $36,758.67 and $33,864.08, respectively, while “KoksJuuice” became the $215 Title Fight champion, an accolade that came with a $46,528.08 this week.

Partypoker’s $109 Main Event had 1,658 players buy in and it was “XaXoManBR” who outlasted them all to win $26,259.59 with “vinciustele” turning $109 into $13,084.97 by winning the Weigh-In tournament.

Over to 888poker now where the $600 Whale was settled with a three-way chop. Finland’s “Jarildur1” was the eventual winner and banked $26,523.08 with “floatmasta” and “perrymejsen” finishing in second and third place for $22,195.79 and $21,805.98.

The popular $215 Mega Deep had a $120,000 guarantee this weekend, a guarantee beaten by $25,200. “stockfish9” took full advantage of the swollen prize pool by topping a field of 726 to claim a cool $26,644.20.

One of 888poker’s more popular events is the $160 Sunday Crocodile, which was won this weekend by “lufeee” for $12,406.33 with “wishuluckBRO” emerging victorious in the $90 Sunday Challenge for $16,432.50.
