partypoker Announces the UK Championship Series
Poker tournament players from the United Kingdom have the chance to play for a share of more than $220,000 in the inaugural partypoker UK Championship Series.
Hosted online at partypoker, the UK Championship Series takes place between May 21-28 and sees a total of 10 Day 1s spread across four buy in levels, which culminates in a final held at 8 p.m. BST on May 28.
The Day 1s shuffle up and deal at 8 p.m. every day from May 21-27 and three further flights commence at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 28, with the latter being played to a turbo blind structure so that players who progress from the last Day 1 can take their seat in the final.

Players sit down with a 50,000 chip stack and can play in as many or few Day 1s as they wish. Should they progress to the final more than once, however, they only take their largest stack through with them and all other stacks are forfeited.
Guarantees for the four buy-in levels range from $20,000 up to $100,000; the champion of each final is awarded a $10,000 Caribbean Poker Party package and will receive a special trophy when they join partypoker in Punta Cana in November.
During the Day 1s, British members of Team partypoker will play with a bounty on their heads. Whoever eliminates Patrick Leonard, Carl Froch or Natalia Breviglieri from any of the UK Championship Series tournaments receives a Caribbean Poker Party Semi-Final ticket worth $109.
