Global Poker's Live Tournament Representatives Are Two-for-Two

Global Poker

Global Poker is known as a site geared toward recreational poker players, but “recreational” doesn’t always mean not profitable. The site is proudly two-for-two in sending its players to represent Global Poker at live events with Sandra Lefler’s recent cashes at the Wynn Classic.

Just this month, Lefler a.k.a. “MommyGingery” took to the felt at the Wynn to represent Global Poker in three events, an honor she won by finishing atop the Grizzly Games Leaderboard. Lefler turned the $5,000 stake into cold hard cash, finishing in the money in two events.

First, Lefler took 13th in a $400 event for $1,085. In the $1 million Guarantee Championship event, Lefler made another deep run, finishing 47th out of 984 entrants to add another $6,218 to her bankroll.

In total, the poker-playing mother from Las Vegas grabbed up $7,303 in prize money during her Wynn Classic freeroll run, courtesy of her online site of choice — Global Poker. Lefler’s hobby of playing at Global Poker has been paying off for her big time in 2018 so far.

Indiana’s Nathan Blair became the first GP representative after winning the Eagle Cup Leaderboard in October 2017. He chose to use his $5,000 live tournament package to play in the WSOP Circuit Cherokee in December, taking 34th in the Main Event for $5,627. That means both of Global Poker's live representatives have cashed in on their Global Poker Championships series runs.
