CAD $4 Million Guaranteed WSOP-C Playground Festival Announced
The Playground Poker Club in Montreal is gearing up to host a World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) festival in August in conjunction with partypoker LIVE.
Seven events are scheduled between Aug. 19 and Sep. 3 with combined guarantees of CAD $4 million. Buy-ins for these seven events range from $330 up to $5,300 meaning there is a WSOP-C Playground tournament for everyone. Each event will award a coveted WSOP-C ring.

It is the Colossus that kicks off the festival on Aug. 19. This event has a massive CAD $1 million guarantee despite the buy-in being set at a mere CAD $330.
The Main Event follows the Colossus and runs between Aug. 25 – Sep. 3. Costing CAD $1,100 to enter, the WSOP-C Playground Main Event boasts a CAD $2 million guaranteed prize pool.
Other WSOP-C Playground events include a Monster Stack Freezeout, the Closer, a Super High Roller, a High Roller and a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament.
