Aspers Casino Prepares to Host Lex Live 2 London

Team PokerStars Pro Lex Veldhuis’ first-ever live poker festival was such a massive success that his sponsor has created Lex Live 2: London.
The inaugural Lex Live took place in March at the Casino de Namur in Belgium and saw seven events take place. It was the €225 buy-in Lex Live Main Event that was by far the most popular tournament, attracting a field of 1,064 and creating a €196,713 prize pool.
While Veldhuis failed in his quest to cash in the event bearing his name, 112 of the entrants did receive prize money for their efforts. Nobody won more than Dutchman Danny de Vos who walked away with the winner’s trophy and a cool €29,309 in cash.
Lex Live 2: London takes place at Aspers Casino in Stratford, the venue for the recent British Poker Open and Poker Central Super High Roller Bowl. While the stakes will be far smaller than in those events, the fun factor will be like nothing Aspers has ever seen before, as Veldhuis brings his unique style to the British capital.
