Three Events to Watch

Tournament poker players are spoiled for choice right now with so many massive events taking place each and every day. There’s literally been no better time to specialise in online MTTs, but which tournaments should you play?

PokerNews has run its eye over the upcoming schedules and hand-picked a trio of gargantuan events that have us salivating at the prospect of seeing them play out. Without further ado, here are the latest Three Events to Watch.

WSOPC Ring Event #11: Deepstack Bounty Hunters, $500K Gtd

The 2020 WSOPC continues at GGPoker and our team is reporting on the upcoming WSOPC Ring Event #11: Deepstack Bounty Hunters tournament. This huge PKO event costs $210 to enter and has half a million dollars guaranteed to be won. Oh, and a covered WSOPC ring for the champion.

Play begins on eight-handed tables with play switching to nine-handed once the final table is reached. Everyone sits down with 20,000 chips and plays to blinds starting at 50/100/10a that increase every 12-minutes. Those levels increase to 15-minutes once Level 21 is reached.

More than a dozen $21 buy-in satellites are running between now and the start of the WSOPC Ring Event #11: Deepstack Bounty Hunters at 8:00 p.m. CET on May 19.

GGPoker hosted a similar event on May 12 and it attracted 3,615 players who created a guarantee-busting $723,000 prize pool.

Brazil’s “JoaoValli” was the last standing player and they won $84,706 from the main prize pool and $32,827 worth of bounties for a combined prize worth $117,533 plus a WSOP Circuit ring.

WPT #04 – WPTSuper50: $1M Gtd

The WPTSuper50 looks like one of the best value online poker tournaments of the year. partypoker and the World Poker Tour has guaranteed $1 million will be won for only a $55 buy-in. This means the tournament needs to attract 20,000 entries, but only approximately 7,300 have bought in so far.

Four flights remain, two on May 18 and an additional two on May 19. There’s no way there will be 13,000 fresh faces across those four flights especially as the busiest flight so far only saw 1,036-entrants compete.

Day 1 starts at 1:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CET and continues until eight hours 50-minutes of action have passed by.
