A One Outer in a Three-Way All-In Pot

Double Knockout for Mosboeck

In Event #75: $300 Double Stack NLH, it was Level 28 (60,000/120,000/15,000) with 55 players remaining from the 3,552-entry field when Andrey "FivebetGAMER" Vedomtsev moved all in for 1,060,548 from under the gun and Mario "xxmmarioxx" Mosboeck called in the hijack. Muhammad "Born2Win1" Ali then moved all in for 1,355,810 total in the big blind which Mosboeck also called.

Muhammad "Born2Win1" Ali: KK
Andrey "FivebetGAMER" Vedomtsev: A9
Mario "xxmmarioxx" Mosboeck: JJ

The board eventually ran out QJ10AQ to improve Mosboeck to a full house and he scored a rare double knockout while at the same time jumping above ten million in chips. "LI666" flashed the mucked J as Mosboeck had hit a one-outer on the flop.

Vedomtsev and Ali finished in 55th and 54th place respectively, both for $1,744, while Mosboeck went on to finish in 11th place for $6,753.

Timmis vs Rage Monkey1

Another interesting hand went down on Day 2 of Event #77: $5,000 NLH Main Event. It was Level 12 (30,000/60,000/7,500), when "Rage Monkey1" raised to 120,000 in the hijack and was called by Bruno Volkmann. Craig Timmis (pictured in lead image), who was in the small blind, then three-bet to 480,000, which only the initial raiser called.

The flop came down 752 and Timmis moved all in, which "Rage Monkey1" called off for their last 1,127,890.

"Rage Monkey1": K9
Craig Timmis: AJ

Neither player had much of anything, so the ace-high of Timmis was best. Nothing changed with the 10 turn nor 10 river and Timmis earned the 3.45 million pot with ace-jack high.

It was a “Timmis Special” from a player known for not being afraid to mix it up. It also helped him make a deep run and he currently finds himself sitting fifth in chips among the final 38 players.
