Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink

The first day of EPT Online 17: $2,100 PLO [6-Max] has now come to an end on the 19th level of play and it is Rob "batoelrob" Hollink who will be leading the final 38 into Day 2.

Hollink started to climb early in the day and never really showed any signs of slowing down as he constantly was on an upward trend until the last hand. He found his make or break hand in a three-way pot that saw his flopped flush up against the set of aces that Jussi "calvin7v" Nevanlinna held. The board ran out clean, catapulting Hollink over 1.7 million which is just shy of where he ended the day, bagging 1,758,500.

Closest behind Hollink on the totem pole is Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas who bagged 1,567,406 by nights ends after a rollercoaster Day 1. The list rounding out the top five inlcudes PokerStars Team Online Pro Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis (1,365,805), "ZhipOHoy" (1,250,000), and Marcin "cladarth" Pszenniak (1,180,161). The eventual winner will be taking home a $109,181 payday for their efforts as well as an EPT Online title for their resume.
