PokerStars Sunday Million 15th Anniversary

Romania's "Transylvanian" will enter the third and final day of the Sunday Million 15th Anniversary at PokerStars with the chip lead with the field down to 65 entrants.

The Sunday Million 15th Anniversary has been a massive success with 69,876 entrants generating a massive $13,975,200 prize pool to smash the $12.5 million guarantee.

This just makes it the second-biggest Sunday Million Anniversary event, behind only last year's Sunday Million 14th Anniversary event that witnessed 93,016 entrants generating a ginormous $18,603,200 prize pool.

Day 2 Recap

Day 2 began with 17,516 players battling it out in the hopes of at least a min-cash of $412 paid out to the top 9,971 players. This included thousands of players that late-registered or re-entered after Sunday's Day 1 concluded and before the start of Day 2.

The payouts were announced five minutes before the action began with about half the field or 9,971 entrants guaranteed at least a min-cash of $412 and more than $1.5 million to the winner.

The money bubble broke before the second break with Mongolia's "Seddari" hitting the rail empty-handed in 9,973rd place. After this, eliminations took place at a fast and furious pace until there were only 65 players to end the day.
