Dan "Dannyz0r" Borlan Leads Final 40 Players in SCOOP-92-H: $10,300 NLHE Main Event

After a hectic Day 2, Dan "Dannyz0r" Borlan has bagged the chip lead in the PokerStars 2021 SCOOP-92-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event], with just 40 players remaining ahead of Day 3.

Day 1 attracted 599 entries, and before the start of today, another 65 players decided to jump in last minute to get to 664 entries in total to get to a prize pool of $6,640,000. This meant that 87 players would get paid at least $21,328 while the first-place prize everyone aspires to win is a whopping $1,130,396.

Borlan grabbed the chip lead when he eliminated "jancsi69" in 43rd place. "jancsi69" had flopped a full house but Borlan had hit the runner-runner quads to scoop the monsterpot. Following Borlan in the top three are David "MissOracle" Yan (13,782,929) and "kZhh" (11,044,677). Bruno "great dant" Volkmann is the only other player to return for Day 3 with more than 10 million.

Joao "vovo_leo" Studart Leads SCOOP-93-H: $10,300 PLO PLO Main Event Final Table

Twenty-one players went to bed with chips after Day 1 of the 2021 PokerStars SCOOP-93-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event], but by the time play began on Day 2, twenty-four more names joined those ranks, building an overall prize pool of $1,350,000 between 134 entrants. After a roller coaster six-hour day, the final table of seven is set, with Joao "vovo_leo" Studart and a stack of 7,039,639 leading the pack.

Studart spent the majority of the day wiping players from the tournament, including the elimination of "pkr_falk" on the bubble. Studart also was able to dispatch "Johan5390", Alexey "LuckyGump" Makarov and "rObetOblancO" once the money was reached and used those chips to fuel his way to the overnight chip lead.

"LamassuShedu" sits in second, while Canadian pro and two-time WSOP Bracelet winner Mark "AceSpades11" Radoja, who was one of the twenty-four max late registrants, is in third.

Connor "blanconegro" Drinan Leads Final 18 in SCOOP-93-M: $1,050 PLO Main Event

Connor Drinan
Connor Drinan

It almost counts as an upset that Connor "blanconegro" Drinan has failed to bring home a PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker title in 2021 after he rampaged to a record five crowns in 2020.

That could change after Day 2 of SCOOP-93-M: $1,050 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event].

With 18 of 935 entries left in the hunt, Drinan is among them, and he has secured a pretty big stack with 8,758,358, ranking third behind Ramon "ZéDoBlefe11" Sorgatto (15,437,916) and Tyler "Juicy_J_93" Jardine (9,952,887).
