"TiltedHard" Wins NJSCOOP Event #38-H: $200 NLHE [7-Max, Exit 7] ($4,387)

Another exciting night of action in the 2021 PokerStars New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker (NJSCOOP) has come to an end with Event #38-H: $200 NLHE [7-Max, Exit 7] reaching its conclusion.

Topping the field at the end of the night was "TiltedHard" who caught fire late to capture the $4,387 grand prize and his second NJSCOOP title of the year after winning Event #36-L: $30 NLHE [Super Tuesday, Mini] for $1,536.83.

6Benji “OtB_RedHeron” Felson$825

A field of 67 was whittled down steadily and after a little over five hours the final table of seven was reached. Play would slow down at the final table as it took about 45 minutes for the final table to be cut from seven down to four which is when things would suddenly kick into high gear for the eventual champion.

The defining hand of the tournament came four-handed when Ryan "hagz2richez" Hagerty, who had been the large chip leader at the start of the final table, lost all of his chips with top pair on the board to thepocket aces of "TiltedHard" after calling the flop, the turn and a river all in to set up the eventual champion with a commanding chip lead.

"TiltedHard" would then only need four more hands to dispatch of Michael “mikeyeager” Yeager in third place and "[email protected]" in second to bring home the title only a couple of minutes after the momentum shifting hand.

"Bout2CrushU" Wins MISCOOP-27-H: $1,000 NLHE (6-Max, High Roller) ($18,073.52)

"Bout2CrushU" already had a 2021 PokerStars Michigan Championship of Online Poker title to their credit, and added another prestigious accomplishment to their wall by besting a 78-entrant field to win the 2021 PokerStars MISCOOP-27-H: $1,000 NLHE (6-Max, High Roller), $50K Gtd for $18.073.52.

In February, "Bout2CrushU" won the MICOOP-14: $200 NLHE [Super Tuesday SE], $30K Gtd for $10,448.68, and after firing two bullets in today's high roller, they managed to come from behind in a lengthy heads-up duel against runner-up (and fellow 2021 MICOOP champ) "Owens18853" to become a MICOOP and MISCOOP champ in the same year.

MISCOOP-27-H: $1,000 NLHE (6-Max, High Roller) Final Table Results

After building up a healthy $74,100 prize pool, a starting field of 78 entrants quickly fell by the wayside. "iConvert13" was looking to make it back-to-back MISCOOP-H titles after shipping Event #26-H: $300 NLHE (Super Tuesday SE) yesterday, but fell in 14th, a few spots shy of a cash. After "Upay4mySushi" busted in the bubble, it was a quick race to the final table. "PimpMyBalance", "Dublistic", "santasworkshop" and "ChaaarliesHouse" all managed to earn a payday before the final table of seven was reached.

"barry20sanders" made their second appearance at an MISCOOP-H final table in as many days, but it was a short lived stay as they couldn't spin the short stack up and fell in seventh. After "Gamestop2012" fell in sixth, play went on for thirty minutes before a flurry of eliminations took place, with "georgejanssen", two-time MICOOP champ "sexycaitlyn", and "J_Voorhees187" all falling in quick fashion.

There seemed to be no love lost between "Owens18853" and "Bout2CrushU" in their heads up duel, as evidenced by many testy exchanges between the two in chat. "Owens18853" started with a 3:1 chip lead in the heads-up duel, but near the end of the one-hour battle, "Bout2CrushU" woke up with a series of premium hands to turn the tide. The final hand saw "Owens18853" rip it in with ace-six, but "Bout2CrushU" lived up to their handle, holding aces and ending the run of "Owens18853" in second.

PokerNews will return tomorrow with coverage of MISCOOP-29-H: $300 NLHE (Progressive KO, Thursday Thrill SE), $40K Gtd starting at 8:00 p.m. EST.
