Day 18 of the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas saw endless rows of players line up to pony up $1,500 each and take a shot in Event #37: MILLIONAIRE MAKER No-Limit Hold'em. The first of two starting days in the ever-popular event drew an astonishing 3,546 runners, and the second starting flight on Saturday should see a similar amount of hopefuls show up.
Just one bracelet was awarded on Friday, with musician Steve Albini topping Event #32: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. for $196,089 and his second career bracelet.

Steve Zolotow Among Final Ten in Event #34: $1,500 Freezeout NLHE
After an exciting ten 60-minute levels of play, the second day of Event #34: $1,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas is officially complete.
158 players started Day 2, but only ten remain from the original 1,774 runners. They have all made the unofficial final table and will compete for the iconic World Series of Poker gold bracelet along with an impressive $364,899 top prize.
All players have already secured $24,407 and seven out of 10 will be looking for their first career WSOP bracelet win.
A pair of Frenchmen are at the top, with Samuel Bifarella being the Day 2 chipleader with 10,455,000, while Maxime Parys is not far behind with 8,370,000.
2011 WSOP bracelet winner Justin Pechie is in third with 5,050,000 with another Frenchman, Michel Leibgorin, in fourth with 3,970,000.
Two-time bracelet winner Steve Zolotow is in fifth place with 3,960,000 in chips and will need to survive just one more elimination to make his 22nd career WSOP final table and second of 2022. Zolotow finished fourth in Event #3: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em, marking his first final table since 2010.

Drew Scott Leads the Field After Day 2 of Mixed Big Bet
Big swings and plenty of action highlighted Day 2 of Event #35: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet, where Canadian Drew Scott holds the lead among the final 17 players.
Scott bagged 1,340,000 chips after mounting a charge late in the night thanks to a pair of big hands against Schuyler Thornton. First, Scott earned three-quarters of a Big O pot to avoid elimination. Just over an hour later, Scott doubled through Thornton with aces up. He now holds a narrow lead over Galen Hall, with plenty of other notable names giving chase.
A total of six bracelet winners remain in the final 17, including Rami Boukai, Keith Lehr, Scott Bohlman, Renan Bruschi and Day 1 chip leader Richard Ashby.

Madsen Going For Bracelet #5 In Event #36: $1,500 Stud Hi-Lo
After ten hours of play, Day 2 of the 2022 World Series of Poker Event #36: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better has come to a close.
The United States' Chris Papastratis ended the day as the runaway chip leader, bagging and tagging a stack of 3.2 million when all was said and done.
Trialling behind him are Kenny Hsiung (1,560,000) and four-time WSOP bracelet winner Jeff Madsen (1,340,000), who also round out the top three chip stacks.
The event saw a total of 471 entries, which generated a prize pool of $628,785. Of those initial entries, just 152 players returned for Day 2. That figure was slashed down to just 15 players, who will all be eyeing the $135,260 first-place prize and the WSOP gold bracelet.

Shannon Shorr Among Big Names to Progress on Day 1a of Event #37: $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER No-Limit Hold'em
Shannon Shorr was among the notable names to advance after Day 1a of the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #37: $1,500 Millionaire Maker as he bagged 244,000. Some 738 runners from this flight will return for Day 2 of the 3,546 entries.
Shorr will be chasing his first bracelet and he tops many people's list as one of the "best without a bracelet" having earned over $10 million in live tournament earnings.
Other familiar names who made it through to Day 2 included Maria Ho, Davidi Kitai, Alex Foxen, Niall Farrell, and big stack, Anatoly Filatov.
They will return to Bally's at 10 a.m. on Sunday to battle for what is already a $4,757,940 prize pool with the second flight still to go.

Event #38: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Championship Is Underway
Day 1 of Event #38: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Championship has come to an end after ten 60-minute levels. The event saw 110 entrants, having started the day with just 5 players. With registration open until Day 2 starts, it will almost certainly beat the field total drawn to the same event last year. Players who have played one bullet can fire once again, as one re-entry is available.
Talking of which, reigning champion Farzad Bonyadi is alive and kicking. The man of Iranian origin netted $297,051 for his win last year and is looking to go back-to-back. He's amongst the bigger stacks of the room after getting high on the chip counts early and cruising. Fan-favorite Andre Templeman had a swingy day after he self-proclaimed that he had learnt the game just earlier today.
Mark Johns bagged the overnight chip lead with 424,500 chips. Others bagging up pretty stacks for the next day, include Phil Hellmuth (197,500), who joined late and surged up the leaderboard, Scott Seiver (226,000), Alex Livingston (320,000), Bradley Anderson (233,000), Darren Elias (267,500) and Jeremy Ausmus (262,500).
