Everything You Need to Know About The Festival in Bratislava

Fresh off the back of the record-breaking WPO Bratislava, more poker action takes place at the wonderful Banco Casino this month with the highly anticipated The Festival in Bratislava.
From October 10-16, the live poker series takes place and features a huge €550 buy-in €500,000 guaranteed Main Event, which is the largest guarantee in Slovakian history for that buy-in level.
In addition to the Main Event, a plethora of events are on the schedule which will satisfy Mixed Games aficionados and those who like to enjoy casino table games. Poker cash games will also be running around the clock as 19 dedicated cash game tables will be open at all times.
Player of the Festival
One exciting new feature that will be present at The Festival in Bratislava is the Player of the Festival.
Any player who takes in part in the series will be eligible to participate in the competition and big rewards are up for grabs for finishing in the top spot. Along with the bragging rights of you being able to call yourself the player of the series, the eventual winner will bag a package worth €1,600 for the next stop of The Festival Series. Furthermore, the champion will also secure a seat for the next Charity Event, which comes with a €1,000 buy-in.
The following tournaments are excluded from the ranking:

- Coolbet Club Championship
- Charity Events
- Satellite tournaments
- Staff tournaments

Flip Your Way into the Main Event
After entertaining the players at The Festival in Tallinn, Franke's Flip Flops will return for the Bratislava leg.
Players who enter the Franke's Flip Flops competition enter flip challenges and those who perform best will receive prizes which could possibly include €550 tickets for the €500,000 GTD Main Event. However, all eyes will be on the grand prize which is a €1,600 package for the next edition of the Series!
Special flip tables will be set up and each evening throughout the series, players can flip their way to win tickets. The buy-ins vary depending on what winner's prizes are up for grabs. In addition to Main Event seats, tickets to other events on the schedule as well as upcoming tournaments will be awarded.

More Than Just Poker
While poker tournaments and cash games dominate The Festival in Bratislava schedule, there are plenty of opportunities to take part in other casino games.

What is The Festival Series?
Launched in February 2021, The Festival Series is a "revolutionary" new live event series that would combine poker, casino and sports event all in one scene. The festival is the brainchild of Cash Game Festival co-founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk who teamed up with the Swedish media powerhouse Acroud to revolutionize the approach to casino festivals.
The Festival plans to have several stops across various cities around the world, starting in Europe.
