Qualify for the PartyPoker Championship Winter Edition $500,000 Main Event for Just One Cent!
Last month, PartyPoker announced the return of the PartyPoker Championship (PPC) Winter Edition, which plays out from December 25, 2022, through to January 17, 2023. The festival promises plenty of festive fun as over $1 million is guaranteed across the PPC.
There are a plethora of events suited to all kinds of bankrolls with buy-ins for tournaments starting at just $5.50. However, all eyes will be on the fantastic $500,000 guaranteed Main Event, which kicks off on the same day as the series.
Pot-Limit Omaha fanatics will also be pleased to know there will be ample opportunities for some four-card fun as two PLO Main Events are also planned, which feature a low and high buy-in.

PPC Winter Edition Main Event Details
As mentioned, the first starting flight of the PPC Winter Edition Main Event shuffles up and deals on Christmas Day, with the remainder of the Day 1's taking place over the following weeks.
In total, there are six qualifying heats with the final flight operating as a turbo flight just before Day 2 of the Main Event begins.
Each player who enters the tournament will receive a 500,000 starting stack which they will look to grow across the 15-minute blind levels. Each Day 1 will close when 15% of the field remains and anyone who virtually bags and tags their stack will make it through to the event's Day 2 which begins on January 16. One reentry is permitted per starting flight so be sure to keep that in mind as well.
Any player who makes Day 2 will lock up the min-cash and those who make the final table will then battle it out for the lion's share of the prize pool on the event's final day which commences on January 17.

If you manage to finish in the paid places, you'll then need to navigate your way through the satellite tree which features $1.10, $5.50, and $22 buy-in satellites. Those tournaments then feed into the weekly PPC Winter Main Event Satellite which has no direct buy-in. The only way to enter is by playing your way into it.
